Care Guide

Cushions- remove cover and machine wash inside out at 30 degrees then air dry. Air feather pad outside in the sun and plump by beating.

Draught excluder- Spot clean only with a damp cloth

All other cotton products- machine wash at 30 degrees and then air dry.

Candles- Trim wick to 1cm before lighting. Allow the wax to melt to the edges the first time of lighting to ensure an even burn. Never leave a lit candle unattended and be careful of flames around animals and children. Do not place lit candle near the edge of a surface or near draping material such as curtains. Leave a 10cm diameter of free space around a burning candle. Be careful of hot wax.

Diffusers- Pour oil into vase and add the reeds. Flip reeds after one hour taking care not to get the oil on any surface. Do not get oil on furniture or fabric surfaces as it will mark. Do not ingest oil. If oil gets into your eye, rinse immediately with water.

Wooden products- Clean with a warm damp cloth and rub teak products with coconut oil to show them some love.

Terracotta- Proof before first use by filling 3/4 full and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 degrees or gas mark 6. Wooden cooking utensils are recommended rather than metal ones. They can be cleaned with a sponge and washing up liquid or in a dishwasher. Make sure it's thoroughly dry before putting away or it could go mouldy. You could pop it in the oven for 10 minutes just to make sure.

Ceramics- Wash in warm soapy water.

Furniture- When chairs need a pick me up simply polish teak with coconut oil and wipe leather with a little leather food or leather wipes. For other furniture, use a damp cloth to dust and the use furniture polish.
