Easter comes next month, and we have just the collection to make it feel extra fresh. It’s not just for kids, here’s how you can bring a touch of Easter into your home.
I love having plants and greenery in the house all year around, they always brighten up a space and just make it feel complete. In the Spring and around Easter time, as cliché as it is, fresh flowers really do lift any room and instantly make it feel refreshed. Peonies, Tulips, Daffodils and other sweet smelling Narcissi are my faves for this season. I find that white and pale pink blooms are the best, and for a simple impact, having a vase of all one variety works really well.
Bringing in some fresh tea towels and oven gloves is the easiest and quickest way to update your home when the season changes. If the rest of the space is neutral, it can be a fun way to play with colour. Easter tea towels also make a nice addition to a chocolate egg as an Easter gift for adults.
We’ve also just introduced oil cloth in the daisy rain design by the meter, so it’s easy to freshen up your kitchen or dining table. Plus because it’s oil cloth, it’s practical and easy to wipe down, no chocolate stains here!
To make Easter a bit more “grown up”, instead of having a display of traditional eggs, try pastel coloured macaroons! You can mix up the colours and flavours so that everyone gets a treat that they like.
Moving into the living spaces and bedroom, as well as flowers, changing over your throw cushions can revitalise the room for the new season. If the cushions you have for each season are the same size, you only have to store the covers, not the pads, saving space.
And finally, our little bunny bag is a fun new Easter decoration, you could sit a vase of flowers in it or it to fill to the brim with eggs and Easter goodies for the kids, because we can’t really forget them now, can we? 😉
We have a special offer just for you! Any order placed on our Spring collection will get 3 free pairs of children’s bunny ears, RRP of £10.50! This offer lasts until the 31st of March.
Bye for now! XOXO Megan
