Now that Halloween has been and gone, we start to plan ahead when it comes to buying Christmas presents (truth be told we started a little while ago). If you do a little bit through the year, you can spread the cost and avoid the panic in the lead up to Christmas.
To help out if you’re looking for ideas, we’ve put together a list which you can use for inspiration. Ranging from small to large gifts, some could be mixed and matched to create a larger gift if you wanted to as well. Check out the list below:
A classic gift combination could be put in a gift basket with a candle of diffuser and a few other goodies.
Most people love their home to smell amazing, but not everyone can have candles in their home, so diffusers are a fantastic option as a gift. Our fragrance range comes beautifully packaged and our candles are 100% soy wax.
Although these are not toys, they make an excellent gift for a nursery or child’s bedroom (or even for a grown up loved one who adores animals) and they look super cute when styled on a shelf or surface beside a plant.
A great way to wrap your presents in an environmentally conscious way. Not only is it magical for kiddies when Santa leaves a sack of presents, but they look beautiful under the tree no matter who they’re for.
Another classic gift, people who love scarves can never have too many, right? Plus, they make great gifts for all ages. Our range comes in beautiful recycled cardboard gift boxes- so they’re also super easy to wrap!
Cosmetic bags are a great base for a gift. You could give them by themselves or add extras like nail varnish, perfume, lipstick/ balm to make a bigger present.
I personally love this idea for anyone who enjoys plants and it makes a lovely present for children to teach them how to take care of another living thing, as well as the joys of watching something grow. Give a beautiful plant pot, an inner and some seeds or a bulb for them to grow their own plant. You can include care instructions for the plant too. If they aren’t too green fingered but still love plants, get a fully-grown plant which fits in the same beautiful pot and just do a little research to get something that’s hard to kill. Again, include some care instructions for the plant.
For the foodie/ chef in your life or you know someone setting up home and loves to cook, a beautiful apron and some tea towels they can use every day. To bulk out this gift, why not add a jar of cookie mix, so all they have to do is add the wet ingredients to bake. Again, this gift works for all ages.
Most people I know would love this gift, vegan and lactose intolerant included! Get a beautiful board, a cheese knife and then find some artisan cheeses and chutneys to accompany it. For the lactose intolerant, goat and sheep’s cheeses are perfect, as well as dairy free. A couple of my vegan friends miss cheese the most, so why not try and find some beautiful artisan vegan cheeses?
10. Casserole Dish
Another foodie gift is our amazing terracotta casserole dishes! These beauties make unusual but great gifts for a number of reasons. Not only are they ethically sourced but they are incredible to cook with- something every cook needs in their kitchen but may not think to buy for themselves. You can read all about what makes them so amazing here.
